They left behind them many literature works in praise of local tea and spring water. Now, a stele before the Yuye Spring still bears the poems inscribed in different dynasties. The Emei Tea brewed with the water from the Yuye Spring has always been praised as the best tea-making recipe by scholars in the past dynasties.
