These came packaged really well - no breaks - I was worried about shipping glass! I love these cups. They're beautifully simple.

The cups are smaller than you might find in many sets, but that's actually a good thing. The teapot is small and light enough to have sitting with you wherever you are, so you can sit back and top off your cup as needed, keeping the tea warmer for longer in the pot. Speaking of that, I was surprised how long the tea kept warm. Drinking a full pot by myself, I can usually get through it while it's still a good drinking temperature. My usual teacup holds nearly twice as much as these, so I didn't think I'd like them, but when you have the pot RIGHT THERE with you, it's not a problem (I sweeten the entire pot to my taste so I don't have to "make" each cup). Actually, the only problem is that this teapot has made it SO EASY to have multiple cups of tea, my consumption has at least doubled. Two people *could* share a pot (so it's nice that there are two cups and saucers), but 90% of the time, I'll just be making tea for myself, and this size is PERFECT for that.

I bought this for my sister. It was so much fun to try some of the tea out with her, It bloomed into a gorgeous flower! We kept adding water and it still tasted good! Beautiful little tea pot for any type of tea.
