Solid with some weight

I also love the fact that these tea set are sturdy. The material feels quality, I don't like the thin dainty cups that you would find at most retailers. Although these are not commercial grade they do have a suprizingly pleaseant heft to them. Solid with some weight, both cup and tea pot. The Wooden holder is also solid and well-engineered, meaning the cupware fits snuggly with little play so that you don't get the clink-clank of loose cups. Highly recommend this product.
