Very good teapot

Although it is rather big and heavy and I have small hands, I can pour comfortably using only one hand. It works well with different oolongs. It improves in particular the taste of Qilan so I decided to pair it with this type of oolong.

When tea pots are more than tea pots

10 years ago my favorite Yi Xing pot was an “oxblood” square-based one a bit taller than this hexagonal one. My darling young grandson came to visit from many miles away and while showing off my teapots He dropped and broke one then began to cry bitterly in remorse. I told him Accidents happen. And that he— And all people— Are more important than things, than belongings. Yes he still cried I told him to choose another of my tea pots and he chose the ox blood one We took it outside and I smashed it in the garden with a hammer. We were both consoled
Took me a long time to try to replace that one but this Hexagonal one is a close match I especially like that it is handmade

I use this every day for my afternoon tea. I've used it to brew Oolong tea and it works great. I think it is an exceptional value being solidly made and big enough for family tea. Plus it is charming! It's just the right size and it cleans up nicely. Tea lovers might like it better because it is a little more oriental looking because of the shape. If I ever break it, I'm very likely to buy exactly this one again as a replacement. If the price is cheaper, it will be even better.

My friend had a birthday last month. I bought this for my friend. who is obsessed with ourple, Because he really likes to drink tea. and it went down well, good size teapot,pours well, and is real quality.He is really happy, So he can drink delicious tea. every day. hahahaha.
