I adore this teapot and use it every day!! love it and will buy a bigger one, using this one for the office. I love hot tea and don't drink much coffee. The difference in flavor from tea bag to loose tea is phenomenal. I love being able to control my level of tea flavor with the loose tea by brewing my own pot of tea. I get almost 2 full cups of tea out of this pot, and slightly over four cups when I use my Kung fu teacups. For the price, if you like tea, you literally have no reason to not own a Yixing teapot.

I Will definitely buy again from this shop!
A friend visited China recently and brought back a beautiful purple clay tea pot. I wanted one and ordered here. Quality was exceptional. I love it. May order a larger one soon. I use it for oolong tea exclusively. Workmanship is of high quality and the lid fits snugly. The spout pour the tea perfectly with no dripping.

Great quality, Great price!
I started getting more into oolong and puerh teas and wanted to get a yixing pot. I am happy to find this as tea shops have very similar pots for 2x-3x the price and I wasn't sure if I liked this style of tea brewing yet to justify a expensive pot. This is great quality for the price so definitely a great buy for starting! I also got the matching clay tea cup, gaiwan, strainer set as well.

Since the porous nature of the clay takes on the characteristics of the tea, I think I will purchase another one so I have a dedicated pot for oolong and one for puerh.

The size is just right for small quick brews, but you may be surprised that it's almost child tea toy set sized since it is just 8oz. It brews enough for two small Chinese tea cup for me and my husband so it suits my needs well. There is a piece of clay molded inside to strain and will do well with large leaves but for finer teas you may want to filter through fine mesh as you pour. I have had no trouble with my oolongs coming directly from this pot without an extra strainer.

Have had this pot for almost two months now and am super happy with it.
