The biggest feature of this Chinese Blue Flower Office Tea Cup With Infuser is its silver-gilded inner wall. Using a refined silver gilding technique, 99.9% pure silver is ground into fine powder, melted into glaze water at high temperature, applied to the inner surface of the teaware, and fired in the kiln. After polishing, the inner wall becomes smooth and glossy, with silver and porcelain closely bonded into one.
The cup body is hand-painted with a golden reed marsh and flying egrets. In traditional Chinese culture, egrets symbolize happiness and longevity. Their upward posture, poised for flight, represents progress, effort, and breakthrough. Fired at 1300°C, the deep blue glaze is clear and bright, resembling sapphire hidden in the deep sea.
