This blue ice-crack Kung Fu tea set is crafted in Dehua, Fujian, the porcelain capital of China. Made from premium ceramic clay and fired at high temperature, the glaze develops a natural ice-cracking pattern through a special firing process. As the glaze expands and contracts beyond its elastic limit, fine crackles form to release internal stress, creating the distinctive frozen-ice texture. The surface resembles delicate cicada wings, silky smooth and glossy, with every detail carefully polished for a refined finish.
The teapot features a precisely shaped spout for smooth, splash-free pouring, an ergonomic curved handle for comfortable grip, and a fine built-in filter that keeps tea clear and clean. The gaiwan has a balanced rim width that makes adding tea leaves easy and pouring graceful.
