This is a beautiful Japanese cast iron teapot, adorned with exquisite reliefs of a mythical Kirin and swirling auspicious clouds. Kirin is a mythical creature symbolizing prosperity and protection, while the auspicious clouds means harmony and good fortune. Each teapot is handcrafted through more than seventy meticulous steps, the process is complex, time-consuming and labor-intensive, and the fine workmanship makes each teapot is unique. The teapot has a nice texture and a reassuring weight in the hand. The teapot embodies the calming strength of cast iron – solid and refined, it brings a touch of tradition and elegance to every tea moment.
