This Qingming Shanghe Kung Fu tea set is crafted from raw mineral porcelain clay and fired at an ultra-high temperature of 1380 °C. Inspired by Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, one of China’s Top Ten classical masterpieces, the set embodies a refined retro Chinese aesthetic that is simple, dignified, and rich in cultural depth. Using Dehua’s nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage ceramic-firing techniques, the painting is delicately reproduced on each piece. The under-glaze blue and multicolor decoration creates a vivid, flowing composition with natural, vintage tones, bringing the artwork to life in a brilliant yet elegant way.
The set includes a gaiwan, eight tea cups, a tea strainer, and a glass fair cup. The gaiwan features a smooth rim curve for controlled pouring; when in use, support it gently with your fingertips and tilt slowly, keeping your palm clear of steam for comfort and safety. The tea strainer effectively filters fine tea leaves, producing a clear, golden liquor. The transparent fair cup allows you to appreciate the color of the tea, while its delicate V-shaped spout ensures even distribution. Each tea cup has a rounded rim that feels smooth and comfortable to the touch. The scenic motifs enhance both the visual appeal and the pleasure of tea tasting.
