Teapot Maker:

Gu Jingzhou (1915-1996), born in Yixing, a generation of purple clay master, Chinese arts and crafts master. At the age of 18, he learned the purple clay art from his grandmother. In his 20s, he was very famous in Yixing clay making industry. In 1954, he actively participated in the establishment and planning of purple clay production factory of Tangdu Pottery production Cooperative. In 1983, he served as the director of "Purple Clay Research Institute".
